Clearwater Pool Care is hiring a reliable, experienced pool technician to join our team. Reporting to our Operations Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for cleaning, checking equipment and treating our clients’ swimming pools to keep them safe and enjoyable.

Job responsibilities:

• Clean pool and skim debris in water using net and vacuum
• Empty and change pool filters
• Test chlorine and pH levels in swimming pool water
• Add swimming pool chemicals (e.g., chlorine, acid) to maintain water quality
• Perform preventive swimming pool maintenance
• Drive the company truck to clients’ homes
• Load and unload tools and equipment from work vehicles
• Keep company vehicles stocked with chemicals and pool cleaning equipment
• Accurately log billable hours using a xero me
• Manage job details, review daily tasks, and follow up with customers using our field service management app

Qualifications and skills:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of previous experience as a pool technician preferred
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
• Technical knowledge of common pool cleaning and maintenance practices, including equipment and chemical use
• Able to lift heavy equipment (50+ pounds) and work in all types of weather
• Great attention to detail, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
• Can work independently and as part of a team environment
• Can communicate well
• Friendly, professional, and respectful to clients

Working hours:

• 24 – 32 hours per week
• Mon–Fri, 7:00am–3:00pm

Compensation:

• $28–34/hour (based on experience)

Clearwater Pool Care is a pool care service based in Arundel, Queensland, providing pool care services, including predominantly plumbing works, installations, repairs, drainage, cleaning, chemical levels, filter replacements, maintaining equipment and other services.

In light of our continued growth within the industry, and continually growing portfolio of projects, we are currently seeking an experienced Plumber to join us to help support business growth and several upcoming large-scale contracts.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Plumber to be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair and servicing of pools and related equipment (both below and above). The key responsibilities associated with this position include:

·            Install, maintain, diagnose, repair and service swimming pool plumbing systems and associated equipment.

·            Diagnose and rectify leaks in pool plumbing systems.

·            Review and assess blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine plumbing systems.

·            Troubleshoot hydraulic and circulation system faults.

·            Conduct routine inspections of pool plumbing and filtration systems.

·            Ensure all work is completed to industry standards and in compliance with safety regulations.

·            Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.

·            Ensure safe and efficient operation of residential and commercial swimming pools.

Qualifications/Experience:

·            AFQ Certificate IV (or Cert III with sufficient experience); at least three years of relevant experience can substitute for the formal qualifications

·            Current Drivers Licence

·            At least 12 months industry experience

·            Proven history of working in pool plumbing and with pool equipment highly desired

·            Dedication to working in a safe and effective manner
